LAURINBURG — A Laurinburg resident reported to the police department on Monday that unknown persons had stolen their Apple iPhone XR valued at $750 at Big Lots.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG — A resident of Produce Market Road reported to the police department on Monday that $1,200 damage was done to the residence after someone had shot at it while they weren’t home.

Fraud

LAURINBURG — A resident of Laurinburg reported to the police department on Monday that unknown persons had stolen his debit card and spent $57.

Arson

LAURINBURG — Police are investigating three arson’s that occurred on Monday. Small fires were set in the grass on East Vance Street and Biggs Street, while another was set in the kitchen at a vacant lot on Park Drive. There was minimal damage done from the fires and police are investigating.

Arrest

LAURINBURG — Christopher Dawson II, 29, of R. Graham Street was arrested Friday for assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats, simple possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by convicted felon. He was given a $5,000 bond.

LAURINBURG —William Jones, 51, of Banner Elk was arrested Friday for warrants out of Scotland County for failure to appear. He was given a $191,800 bond.

LAURINBURG — Justin Honeycutt, 33, of Rockingham was arrested Saturday for violation of probation and parole warrants out of South Carolina. He was given a $63,000 bond.

LAURINBURG —Charlotte Clark, 42, of Port Street was arrested Sunday for assault with a deadly weapon, injury to personal property and stalking. She was released on a written promise to appear.
