Small Business Center launches Vision Chase 2022

HAMLET — The Small Business Center at Richmond Community College is launching its own version of reality show “Shark Tank” for people who complete the seven core seminars on how to start a business.

Named “Vision Chase 2022,” this seminar series will equip future entrepreneurs with a viable business plan and prepare them to present their business ideas to a panel of leaders from the financial and business community. The panel will provide valuable feedback to each participant, but the top three business planners will receive awards.

Vision Chase is open to the community. The seminars are free and offered online weekly from 6 to 8 p.m. The seminars include:

· How to Start a Business – Feb. 3

· Financing Your Small Business – Feb. 10

· How to Write a Business Plan – Feb. 17

· How Find Your Customers – Feb. 24

· Marketing Your Business – March 3

· Basics of Bookkeeping – March 10

· Your Small Business Taxes – March 17

Upon completion of the last seminar, participants will have a month to prepare their presentation for the panel of experts.
