LAURINBURG —The Fighting Scots soccer team continue their hot start to the season.
Scotland defeated the South View Tigers 4-1 to improve their record to 3-1, giving them their best start to the season since 2014.
This win comes after a sloppy 1-0 victory over Seventy-First Tuesday, a game the Scots luckily came away with, and head coach Jeremy White said the team needed to respond against South View.
Dakota Locklear led the way with two goals, followed by Nathan Ward and Shaun Mclnnis. Ward, Braden Smith and Om Patel each recorded an assist. Andrew Medlock made seven saves while allowing one goal.
Scotland (3-1) will be back on the road against the rival Richmond on Monday at 7 p.m.
