A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at Fairley's Chapel Baptist Church in Laurinburg, with Pastor Murray officiating.
He is survived by his special friend Eva McKoy of Wagram, six brothers: William (Mildred) Murdock and Tommy Murdock of Laurinburg, Robert (Mary) Murdock of Raleigh, Booker T. Murdock of Lumberton, John Murdock of Duffie, and Michael (Tracey) Murdock of Fayetteville, two sisters: Arletha Davis of Laurel Hill and Betty Jean (Larry) McNeil of Laurinburg, and eight grandchildren.
