Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel C. Hill, Jr., will be officiating the service.
Helen was born on Nov. 5, 1925 in Robeson County, daughter of the late Rufus Hayes and Winora McCormick Hayes. She was a devoted homemaker and the loving wife to the late Daniel Conley Hill, Sr. She was strong in her faith in the Lord and loved sharing her faith and encouraging her family to know Jesus. She also enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by granddaughter Rebecca Hill and sister Mary Norman.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her children, sons the Rev. Daniel C. Hill, Jr., of Creedmoor and Rufus Hugh Hill of Laurinburg, her daughter Freida Greenfield of Port St. Lucie, Fla., 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
