Wilma Mae Hendrix Dial, 71, of Laurinburg passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Pastor Woody Byrd. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Wilma was born on November 10, 1941, daughter of the late Charlie Monroe Hendrix and Ruby Emma Driggers Hendrix Lewis. She was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked in textiles with Waverly Mills and JP Stevens, Inc. Wilma enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by grandson Aaron Locklear and brother Charlie Hendrix.

Wilma leaves to cherish her memory her husband Willie C. Dial, Jr. of their home, son David W. Dial and special friend Connie Barnes of Laurinburg, her daughters Samantha Locklear and husband Kenneth of Laurel Hill and Charlotte Hatcher and husband Chris of Laurinburg, 10 grandchildren: Kenneth Michael Locklear, Alyson Locklear, Ashley Dial, Amber Dial, Danny Dial, David Dial, Jr., Merceri Dial, Page Lee Lockelar and husband Daniel, Cherie Locklear and husband Nick, and Jasmine Hatcher, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6- 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

The family requests that memorial gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Dial to Hospice of Scotland County, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
