A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at Purcell Funeral Home in Laurinburg. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012.
He is survived by his son Gregory Rogers of San Angelo, Texas, his daughter Yvette Duncan of Plano, Texas, grandchildren Christopher Weedon of Boston, Mass., Jousha Lacy of San Angelo, and Ariana Aguilar of San Angelo, sisters Helen Campbell and Mable Marshall of Laurinburg, brothers Sylvester (Helen) Rogers of Charlotte, Walter (Annie) Rogers of Laurel Hill, Eddie (Majorie) Rogers of Gibson, and Charles Rogers of Shreveport, La., and brother-in-law Lacy McGougan of Fayetteville.
