A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born on Dec. 12, 1929 in Columbus County, she was a daughter of the late M.B. and Sallie Nobles Smith.
She is survived by her "adopted son" David Michael Boone of Laurinburg, her sister Christine Nobles of Lexington, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Elgret Lloyd Caulder.
Visitation will be from 1:30-3 p.m. prior to the service Friday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
