Betty Knight Stubbs, 76, of Laurel Hill passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Huckabee Grove Emmanuel Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Larry Singletary. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by her sons Randall Stubbs and Richard Stubbs of Laurel Hill and Gregory Stubbs and Joey Stubbs of Monroe and her sisters Peggy Bolke of Aiken, S.C. and Virginia Herring of Hudson. She was preceded in death by her son, Deryl Stubbs.
Born on May 19, 1936 in Laurel Hill, she was a daughter of the late R. D. and Mattie Knight. She loved raising her sons and formerly served with Mamie’s Drive-In in Laurel Hill. In her free time she also enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
