Glen Monroe Lockey, 43, of Laurinburg passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Spring Hill Baptist Church in Wagram officiated by the Rev. Marvin Seals. Burial will follow the service in Hillside Memorial Park.

Glen was a son of the late Frank “Sonny” Lockey and the late Sandra Fay Dixon Price born on Feb. 20, 1970. He was a longtime employee as a heavy equipment operator with the Scotland County Landfill. He attended the Spring Hill Baptist Church. Glen was an avid NASCAR racing fan and had a great sense of humor that enjoyed picking around and having good clean fun.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Glen Bradley Lockey.

Glen is survived by his companion Lynn Edge of their home in Wagram, his children Chad Lockey and fiancé Courtney Thompson of Wagram and Erek Lockey and Torie Lockey both of the home, brother Gary Lockey and wife Felisa of Laurinburg, sisters Charmin Poole and husband Chuck of Laurinburg and Christy Wilkes and husband Wayne of Laurinburg, stepfather Richard Price of Laurinburg, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

Memorial donations are requested to be made in memory of Glen to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
