Scottish Pilot Club 2010-1022 President Mary Ann Salemme along with Scottish Club's Pilot International Foundation Representative Jane Callahan, and Scottish Pilot Vice President Jennie Meggs, joined more than a thousand Pilot members from all over the world at the Pilot International/ Pilot International Foundation Annual Convention, which was held recently in Louisville, Ky.

Convention attendees took part in meetings, an installation banquet and many workshops that were provided during the week. Other highlights included speakers on topics related to brain disorders and traumatic brain injury.

Founded in 1921, Pilot International is a service organization of volunteers working together to improve the quality of life in communities throughout the world. The organization's service focus is helping persons with brain-related disorders and disabilities through education, volunteerism, and financial support. The Pilot International Foundation awards thousands of dollars annually in grants and scholarships to further education, research, and programs that benefit those affected by neurological diseases and injuries to the brain.

President Mary Ann Salemme is a charter member of the Scottish Pilot Club. The club, which meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, will celebrate its 20th anniversary in March.
