The following are scores and some highlights from recent action in the American Legion baseball league.

Canady's 8, Shirt Tales 6

Paced by a 4-for-5 showing from Martin Locklear, Canady's remained undefeated on the season with an 8-6 victory over Shirt Tales.

Complimenting Locklear was Brandon Smith, who went 2-for-4. Migall McKeithan was the winning pitcher.

Walker Davis and Logan Hatcher each went 2-for-4 to lead Shirt Tales.

Champs 14, Holiday Inn 10

Champs kept the pressure on first place Canady's with a 14-10 win over Holiday Inn.

Rob Cribb picked up the win on the mound for Champs.

Dylan Faulk was the top hitter for Champs going 2-for-3. He drew a walk and scored twice. Dylan Ward went 1-for-2 and also touched home plate twice while drawing a pair of walks.

Bradley Scott went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored to pace Holiday Inn. Matt Caviness went 1-for-2 with a double. He also walked twice and scored a pair of runs.
