A Thursday court hearing for the 32-year old accused SUV killer was rescheduled for today.

An official said the court hearing was moved so that social services issues could be addressed, as well as the severity of the charge.

Richard Franklin Hall, of 22861 Marston Road, Laurel Hill was charged Dec. 26 with the Christmas Day slaying of 42-year-old Clorina Adams, of 1800 Ellison Street, Laurel Hill. Hall is being held in Scotland County jail without bond.

Hall drove over Adams' body several times with a 2001 Lincoln Navigator registered to his wife, Sherry Kay Johnson.

Police are unsure the exact nature of the relationship, why the two were together on Christmas or what caused the confrontation, though they believe alcohol was a factor in the slaying.
