Little Rock to host practice for upcoming “Battle in the Carolinas”

ROCKINGHAM – The Legends Cars, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters will hit the Little Rock at Rockingham Speedway this Sunday, August 9, as drivers and teams prepare for the upcoming “Battle in the Carolinas” on August 12-15.

Gates open Sunday Morning at 9 a.m. with practice beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 3 PM. Pit passes for practice are $25 with free bleacher seating for spectators.

Races featuring Bandit, Young Gun, Outlaw, Young Lion, Semi-Pro, Pro, Master and Thunder Roadster classes begin each day on Wednesday, August 12 through Saturday, August 15 with practice beginning at 9:30 AM with main events slated to roll off at noon and run until 3:30 PM.

“We are looking forward to four great days of racing at the ‘Little Rock,’” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “It should be a great event.”

Pit access is $25 a day for all classes, except for the Pro and Master, which are $35 per day or $100 for the four-day event. General admission for spectators and camping outside the track are free.
