LAURINBURG - John Horne reported an incidence of vandalism on McLaughlin Road on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Tin sheets on the outside of a mobile home were damaged.

LAURINBURG - Larry Douglas, 32, of 911 Charlotte St. Apt. 11B was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court for driving while license revoked, according to a sheriff’s report. Douglas was placed under a $2,000 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Shirley Farris of Marston Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at her home on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report.

WAGRAM - Thomas Burrus reported a breaking and entering and larceny on Riverton Road on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Items stolen included a hot water heater valued at $300, a Weber smoker valued at $300, and a 15-speed mountain bike valued at $300.

LAURINBURG - Justin Grooms, 55, of 16680 Brandon Road was arrested Tuesday under a warrant for one count of larceny, one count of obtaining property by false pretense, and one count of conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense, according to a sheriff’s report. Grooms was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Lawanda Boyd, 30, of 821 Jackson St. was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Boyd was placed under a $100 secured bond.
