A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. Neal Carter and the Rev. Elizabeth Forester.
Ricarda was born in Evansville, Ind. on Oct. 30, 1949, a daughter of the late Richard Brennan, Jr. and Elizabeth Slusser Brennan. She was a devoted homemaker and worked as an Administrative Assistant with Raytheon System Security. She enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, and especially enjoyed camping in their R.V. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will truly be missed.
She is survived by her husband Don Ohl of their home in Laurinburg, daughters Karen Kelley of Silver Lake, Kan., Colleen Ann Lilly and husband Keith of South Riding, Va., Cari Louise Ohl of Laurinburg, and Cheri Miller of Crestview, Fla., brothers Richard Lloyd Brennan of Whispering Pines and Samuel R. Brennan of St. Johns, Fla., her sister Susan Elizabeth Welty and husband Mike of Woodbridge, Va., and grandchildren Charlie Ann Ohl and Kayleen Kelley.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
