LAURINBURG - James Moody, 62, of 11620 Mistletoe Drive was arrested Friday under an order for arrest for two counts of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Moody was placed under a $100 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Dewanna Johnson reported a burglary on Morrison Road on Saturday, according to a sheriff’s report. Items stolen included a refrigerator, vehicle tires and rimes, a freezer, assorted metals, and a grease gun.

MAXTON - Harold Miller, 33, of 4983 NC 83 was arrested Saturday under an order for arrest for one count of tobacco vending machine sale, according to a sheriff’s report. Miller was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAUREL HILL - Larry Graham, 35, of 9201 Rockingham Road was arrested Sunday for one felony count of trafficking opium, one felony count of maintaining a vehicle for the sale of controlled substances, and one count of simple possession, according to a sheriff’s report. Graham was placed under no bond.

LAUREL HILL - Robert Smith of Andrew Jackson Highway reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Sunday, according to a sheriff’s report. An entertainment center and an air conditioning unit were stolen.

LAURINBURG - Jerry Baker of Bostic Road reported the larceny of a vehicle tag from a car parked at his home on Sunday, according to a sheriff’s report.

WAGRAM - Tommy Locklear, 35, of Rowland was arrested Sunday for one count of assault on a female and one count of assault with a deadly weapon, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAURINBURG - John Beasley, 28, of 1160 Ghio Road was arrested Sunday under a warrant for one count of assault on a female, according to a sheriff’s report. Beasley was placed under no bond.
