LAURINBURG - NC Forestry reported illegal burning of tires on Blakely Road on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report.

WAGRAM - Melanie Wright, 50, of 27079 Harold Morris Road was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Wright was placed under a $100 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Robert Wachlin, 40, of 16520 Tabernacle Road was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one felony count of larceny and one felony count of possession of stolen property, according to a sheriff’s report. Wachlin was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - The 40166 Servicing Grocery on Wagram Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. Stolen were 60 boxes of Newport Cigarettes valued at $300 and 74 cigars valued at $160.
