Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Greater Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Maxton. The dove ceremony and burial will follow at Greater Piney Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jackson Funeral Chapel in Laurinburg from 4-7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne of New York, mother Dorothy Louise Evans of Lumberton, brothers Howard Evans of Lumberton, Robert Woolridge of Virginia, and Leroy Woolridge of Virginia, and sisters Fredi Evans of Washington, D.C. and Karen Evans of Baltimore, Md.
Jackson Funeral Home is serving the family.
