Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Fletcher Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg. The burial and dove ceremony will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Laurinburg. The family will receive visitors from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include his wife Bernadette McCoy of Lumberton,sons John McCoy of Maryland, Brandon McCoy of Lumberton, Aaron Bethea of St. Pauls, Arthur Bethea, Jr. of St. Pauls, and Edmund Jackson of New York, daughters Della Banks of Washington, D.C., Stephanie Ellis of Maryland, Antoinette McDuffie of Hope Mills, Collette Morris of Laurinburg, Ebony Ray of St. Pauls, and Sharon Bethea of St. Pauls, brother John Frank McCoy of Texas, and sisters Doris Poe of Laurinburg, Gracey Dublin of Jersey City, N.J., and Nancy Reid of Laurinburg.
