LAURINBURG - Edwards Meeks, 33, of 118 W. Bizzell St. was arrested Monday for one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Meeks was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAUREL HILL - Billy Prevette of Walters Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. An HP laptop computer valued at $640 was stolen.

LAURINBURG - Tony Bethea, 34, of 1204 Lytch St. was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAUREL HILL - Jonathan Galligan of Bunch Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Items stolen include a 48-inch television valued at $300, a safe, tool boxes, and assorted tools.

LAURINBURG - Donald Locklear, 44, of 9661 Cedar Lane was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for two counts of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Terrence Currie, 31, of St. Pauls was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of trespassing and one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Currie was released under a written promise to appear in court.

MAXTON - Kendall Locklear, 51, 1349 Modest Road was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was placed under a $500 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Chiquita Meek reported an incidence of injury to real property on Old Johns Road on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $4,000.

LAURINBURG - Raquan Farmer, 18, of 21741 Hackamore Lane was arrested Thursday for one count of disorderly conduct, according to a sheriff’s report. Farmer was placed under a $3,500 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Jamie Barfield, 27, of McColl, S.C. was arrested Thursday under an order for arrest for one count of driving while license revoked and one count of speeding, according to a sheriff’s report. Barfield was placed under a $2,000 bond.
