A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. Nancy Willard.
He is survived by his sisters Susan Brigman (Charles) of Dalton, Ga. and Patricia Searcy of Athens, Ga.
Born on Jan. 27, 1949 in Trieste, Italy, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Imogene Fosdick Gamble. He graduated from St. Andrews and served many years with LOF Glass. Robert enjoyed sports, especially football and NASCAR, and grilling outside.
