LAURINBURG - Flora Locklear of Stewartsville Cemetery Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at her home on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. Miscellaneous Christmas decorations valued at $300 were stolen.

LAURINBURG - Jonathan Mercer of Linsley Way reported an incidence of vandalism at his home on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. The ignition of a tractor and rear tire of a vehicle on the property were damaged.

LAURINBURG - Charles Walters of Bundy St. reported fraudulent usage of his bank card number on Friday, according to a sheriff’s report.

MAXTON - Lillian Locklear, 17, of 12400 Benton Drive was arrested Thursday under an order for arrest for one count of trespassing and one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was placed under a $100 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Jonathan Locklear, 24, of 21341 Bridle Path Drive was arrested Thursday under a warrant for two counts of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAURINBURG - Misty Byrd, 36, of 6540 Oak Grove School Road was arrested Friday under a warrant for one felony count of medical assistance fraud and one felony count of food stamp fraud, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Crestline Homes reported a breaking and entering, larceny, and injury to personal property on Crestline Road on Friday, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Jonathan Locklear, 24, of 21341 Bridle Path Drive was arrested Saturday under a warrant for one count of communicating threats and one count of assault on a female, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was placed under no bond.

LAURINBURG - Tiffany Mingin, 27, of 21341 Bridle Path Drive was arrested Saturday for one count of assault and battery, according to a sheriff’s report. Mingin was placed under no bond.

LAURINBURG - Brandon Oxendine, 23, of Red Springs was arrested Saturday under a warrant for one count of placing threatening phone calls, according to a sheriff’s report. Oxendine was placed under no bond.

MARSTON - Kenneth Canup, 35, of 10220 Gum Swamp Lake Road was arrested Saturday under a warrant for one felony count of larceny, according to a sheriff’s report. Canup was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
