LAURINBURG - James Jeter, 29, of 12361 Blues Farm Road was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of simple assault and one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Ricky Knight, 53, of Rockingham was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of fraud, according to a sheriff’s report. Knight was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Ashley Green reported a burglary and larceny on Lees Mill Road on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. A Trane central HVAC unit valued at $2,500 was stolen.

LAUREL HILL - Jonathan Bryant, 26, of 9331 Hunt Club Road was arrested Thursday under a warrant for one felony count of breaking and entering and one felony count of larceny after breaking and entering, according to a sheriff’s report. Bryant was placed under a $2,500 unsecured bond.
