LAURINBURG - Damontrez Wertz, 19, of 22620 Peach Orchard Road was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for two counts of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Wertz was placed under a $2,500 secured bond.
LAURINBURG - Billy Howell of McQueen Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Items stolen included a red and white Honda dirt bike valued at $2,000, a .22 caliber Remington rifle valued at $200, and a 10 karat diamond solitaire valued at $2,400.
HAMLET - Sulyaman Wasalam, 54, of 18141 Quicktown Road was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of sexual battery, according to a sheriff’s report. Wasalam was placed under a $15,000 secured bond.
