Locals are invited to “shop, fellowship and get into the spirit of the holidays” this Saturday at the St. Luke United Methodist Church’s annual holiday bazaar.

Holiday crafts, gifts, homemade baked goods and homemade soup will be available at the event.

Taking place on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. until noon, the bazaar will feature “New But Not Me,” Granny’s Attic and a handmade quilt being called the highlight of the bazaar by organizers.

Crafted by John Blue Cotton Festival Old Timey Fair blue ribbon winner Dema Clark, the quilt is open to silent bids already. Bids may be received at the church. Bidding will conclude with a presentation at the closing of the Bazaar.

According to St. Luke’s Kaye Buie, the event will benefit missions and other good causes at the church.

The St. Luke UMC Annual Holiday Bazaar: Nov. 3, 9 a.m. until noon at 1501 Turnpike Road in Laurinburg.
