LAUREL HILL - Dennis Haynes of Indian Reservation Road reported a larceny at his home on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. A tiller valued at $300 was stolen.

WAGRAM - Adam Locklear, 21, of 186821 Easter Drive was arrested Friday under a warrant for one count of trespassing, according to a sheriff’s report. Locklear was released under a written promise to appear in court.

MAXTON - Donald Harrington, 30, of 457 Highway 71 North was arrested Friday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to pay child support, according to a sheriff’s report. Harrington was placed under a $24,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Marcus Godley, 22, was arrested Sunday for one count of assault on a child under the age of 12, one count of simple assault, one count of assault on a female, one count of burglary, one count of injury to real property, and one count of injury to personal property, according to a sheriff’s report. Godley was placed under a $50,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Joshua Grooms, 25, of 17280 Lees Mill Road was arrested Sunday for one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, one count of possession of a weapon of mass destruction, one count of carrying a concealed weapon, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, according to a police report. Grooms was placed under no bond.

LAURINBURG - Tim Pierce of Ida Mill Road reported an incidence of damage to property at his home on Sunday, according to a sheriff’s report. A window screen and glass window were damaged when someone shot an air rifle at the residence.

LAURINBURG - Leslie Cummings, 19, of Clio, S.C. was arrested Sunday under a warrant for one count of communicating threats, one count of placing harassing phone calls, and one count of simple assault, according to a sheriff’s report. Cummings was placed under a $500 secured bond.
