A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wagram officiated by the Rev. Matt Harmon. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at graveside.
Mary was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She worked as a seamstress, retiring from Quality Mills after many years of service. Before her illness, she served as a member of Fuzion Church. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Carolina Panthers. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Mary also had a special love and care for her pets.
She was preceded in death by her only child Shirley B. Sanford.
Mary is survived by her grandson Carl “Jay” Maness of Wagram.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Mrs. Jackson to the Fuzion Church, P.O. Box 2091, Raeford, NC 28376.
