A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at McLaughlin Chapel AME Zion Church in Raeford. Burial will follow at Highland Biblical Gardens.
The viewing will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Purcell Funeral Home in Laurinburg.
She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Hobson of Raeford, several sisters and brothers, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Purcell Funeral Home is serving the family.
