Gibson’s board of commissioners will call a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Gibson Depot on Main Street.
Staff members from the N.C. League of Municipalities will give a presentation and discuss with the board the roles and responsibilities of the governing body.
The public is welcome to attend.
