The Pilot Club of Laurinburg will hold a fundraiser this week to support the organizations community programs benefitting everyone from autistic students to Alzheimer’s patients and their families.

The club’s annual Gigantic Yard/Bake Sale will be held from 6:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday at the American Legion Post 50 building on Atkinson Street.

Items available will include clothing in all sizes, furniture, toys, vases, appliances, linens, and electronics, as well as baked goods and candies.

All proceeds from the sale will be used to help support the Pilot Club’s various projects, such as the Alzheimer’s Support Group, Autism Enhancement Summer Program, autistic classrooms at North Laurinburg Elementary School, art supplies for special needs students at Scotland High, Brainminders in Scotland County Schools, and the Anchor Club at Scotland High School.

For more information or if you have items to donate, please call Amy Inniss, Fundraising Chair at 276-5957.
