KANSAS CITY, M0. — The NAIA released its brackets for the first-ever NAIA Invitational featuring the top eight men’s lacrosse teams in the nation, and St. Andrews University was selected as a No. 7 seed.
The Knights were tabbed as the third at-large team in the tournament, which begins May 5 in Greenville, South Carolina.
St. Andrews (12-4), the Appalachian Athletic Association regular-season champion and conference tournament runner-up, will face off against No. 2 seed Missouri Valley at 1 p.m.
AAC tournament champion Reinhardt University (Ga.), which earned the league’s automatic bid, was seeded sixth and will face No. 3 seed Siena Heights (Mich.) in the quarterfinals.
Davenport University (Mich.) was tabbed as the No. 1 seed.
St. Andrews is led by senior Cha’Sed Miller, who paces the team in goals (36) and points (51) this season.
