POOLER, Ga. — The St. Andrews University women’s golf team competed in the NAIA Fall Preview tournament Monday and Tuesday at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Georgia.
The Knights finished tied for 15th in the 18-team field with scores of 334 and 350 for a two-round total of 684.
St. Andrews was one of three Appalachian Athletic Conference programs to compete in the tournament on a course that will host next year’s 2016 NAIA Championship. The other AAC schools to participate were Milligan College and Savannah College of Art and Design.
Keiser University won the Fall Preview with a team score of 607. Carolina Retabi took home the tournament individual championship for her school with a score of 145, which was 1-over par.
Junior Paige Hartman was St. Andrews’ top finisher as she tied for 50th. She posted a two-round total of 169.
Senior Sheridan Dillon-Robinson totaled a 170 which tied her for 54th. Junior Isabelle Sullivan followed with a 171, tying for 58th.
St. Andrews is set to travel to South Carolina Nov. 2-3 for the Columbia College Fall Invitational.
