Customized agreement

Richmond Community College and NSG North America are entering an agreement which requests RCC to provide safety, supervisory skills, and equipment-specific training to 68 employees of the glass manufacturing industry. The cost of the training is covered by RCC’s Customized Training Program and allows the industry to invest their funds elsewhere. The industry has invested $12 million in improvements, which will allow flexibility in creating products for a wider market that includes building and automotive glass. The signing event allows different groups to meet to discuss the project. Pictured are (seated) NSG NA Plant Manager Chris DeCerbo, RCC President Dr. Dale McInnis, and NSG NA Regional HR Manager Jeff Mercer. (Standing, l to r) RCC Customized Training Director Lee Eller, RCC Foundation Executive Director Olivia Webb, NSG NA Senior Design Engineer Rob Martin, NSG NA Controller Joel Hartwell, RCC Vice President for Workforce and Economic Development Steve Smith, and NSG NA Engineering Manager Archie Adams.
