A Laurinburg man was arrested in Maxton last week on two charges of attempted murder, according to police. Laurinburg polic said that on Sept. 9, 2012, Cheryl Medlin, 20, and her boyfriend, 30-year-old Robert McRae, were attacked outside of McRae’s home on Morgan Street by 29-year-old Willie Jackson of Branch Road.
