A Laurinburg man was hospitalized after suffering gunshot wounds early Monday morning, according to the Laurinburg Police Department.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired on the 900 block of Kinston Street. Jeremy Alando Bittle, 29, of Wagram Street, was found lying on the side of the roadway having been shot multiple times by a mid-caliber handgun, according to police reports.
Bittle was alert and responsive at the scene and at the hospital.
There are no suspects at this time, but the investigation will continue.
