Tuesday's shooting in Laurinburg has become a double homicide, police said today.
The woman who was critically injured in a Tuesday shooting died this afternoon, police said.
Jennifer Megan Easterling, 25, of 808 Tarboro St. in Laurinburg, died at 12:54 p.m. at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, Lt. Marc Godwin said.
Police were called to Easterling's home about 6:10 p.m. and arrived to find Easterly with a gunshot wound and another man who had been fatally shot, Godwin said.
The male victim has been identified as Larry Wayne Goodwin, 18, of 1000 Anne St. in Laurinburg.
Police have not made an arrest in the shootings.
