LAURINBURG - Kevin Bethea, 21, of 21460 McLaughlin Road was arrested Saturday under a warrant for one count of assault on a child under 12, one count of assault on a female, and one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. Bethea was placed under a $2,000 unsecured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Johnathan Bryant, 26, of 9331 Hunt Club Road was arrested Sunday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Bryant was placed under a $100 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Irby Blackwell of Airbase Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny to a motor vehicle on his property, according to a sheriff’s report.

MAXTON - Tony Galbreath, 28, of 311 N. Patterson St. was arrested Monday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Galbreath was placed under a $200 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - H & L Electric on Plant Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. Items stolen included a core drill valued at $1,500, a hammer and drill bits valued at $800, and a bandsaw valued at $325.

LAURINBURG - Phillip Gainey, of Lee’s Mill Road reported a breaking and entering on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAUREL HILL - Dustin Braswell of Andrew Jackson Highway reported a burglary and larceny from his home on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. Stolen were a black 12-gauge shotgun valued at $300, a Wii valued at $189, a 19-inch flat screen television valued at $250, and a .22 caliber rifle valued at $150.
