A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church in Laurinburg, officiated by the Rev. James McLean. Burial will follow in the Reedy Creek Church Cemetery.
The family is receiving visitors at his home.
He is survived by his daughter Jennette Pegues of Laurinburg, sisters Virginia McLean of Laurinburg, Esther Stubbs of Jamaica, N.Y., Annie Fairley of Atlanta, Ga., and Annie Mae Everette of Gibson, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
