Uninsured women residents of Scotland County between the ages of 40 and 64 are eligible to receive a free mammogram through a grant provided to Scotland Memorial Foundation from The Komen NC Triangle to the Sea Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Free screenings and other diagnostic procedures will be available through March 2013. Physician referral required; doctors should call 291-7558.
