Laurinburg native Daina Elliott was recently promoted to the rank of master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. She is currently stationed at Seymor Johnson Air Force Base.
A member of the Scotland High School class of 1995, Elliot is the daughter of Bethsheba and Roy McNair of Laurinburg.
