Crowell loved bluegrass music and played banjo for the McFarland Road Bluegrass band. He was honorable, brave, and faithful to his family, friends, church, and community. He was true and steady, a rock of strength to loved ones.
He would transcend to another place whenever he played his music leaving all his troubles behind him. He was happiest playing his banjo and watching his grandchildren play.
