A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Carolyn was born on April 27, 1951 in Moore County, daughter of the late Floyd and Myrtle Buie Campbell. She worked with Reeve’s Engraving and served as a member of the Kingdom Hall. She enjoyed spending time with family and her canine friend Maggie.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings Phyllis Campbell Sessoms, Robert Campbell, Patricia Campbell, Bertha Campbell, and Harold Campbell.
Carolyn is survived by her sons Richard “Chris” Currie and wife Alana Vollrath of Huntsville, Aola. and Brian K. Currie of Laurel Hill, brothers Bernice Campbell and Timothy Wayne Campbell both of Laurel Hill, sisters Delphia “Gal” Honeycutt of Vass, Becky Gordon and Nancy Douglas both of Laurel Hill, and Jeannette Smith of Greensboro, five grandchildren: Cody, Zack, Matthew, Tyler, and Madison, and her canine companion Maggie.
