Gun grabbers are back

Why do “Liberal Gun Grabbers” want to do away with America’s gun rights?

Some quote statistics showing the United States as third in the world for gun-related deaths. What they don’t tell you is total firearm deaths, include suicides, lots of them. According to the CDC, in 2013, there were a total of 33,636 firearm deaths, including 21,175, or 63 percent, suicides. Homicides made up 11,208, or 33 percent, of firearm deaths. The rest were accidental (505), legal intervention (467) undetermined (281). So if we reduce suicides by 74 percent, we’d save over 15,000 lives a year.

A 2013 CDC report looked at gun homicides in the 50 metropolitan areas. It revealed in 2009-2010, cities with the highest murder rate by guns were all ran by Democrats

In 2013, mayors of Baltimore, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Orleans, St. Louis were all Democrats, who succeeded Democrats before them, and Democrats before them. These cities have been Democrat political monopolies for generations and it shows.

Liberals brag reductions in gun related crimes in Australia are do to gun prohibition. Yet liberals fail to add this detail, in case they didn’t notice, Australia is surrounded by water and the US has boarders totaling 7593 miles: with Canada 5525, miles, Mexico 1996 miles, United Kingdom 40 miles, and Russia 32 miles. As we have found out the boarders are a minor inconvenience for illegal aliens and drug traffic and would present no problem for gun runners.

Since Australia banned semiautomatic rifles, shotguns and pump action shotguns the gun crime rates have skyrocketed throughout the country:

Murders committed with guns increased 19 percent. Home invasions increased 21 percent. Assaults committed with guns increased 28 percent. Armed robberies skyrocketed up 69 percent.

Former gun owners blame the government and their gun control laws for the increases in crimes. They feel helpless in their own homes, unable to protect themselves. In fact, home invasions were so rare prior to the gun ban the nation didn’t have a legal definition for a home invasion.

Why are “more regulations” the liberal’s answer to gun violence, after all aren’t liberals supposed to be liberal? Liberals are against regulating abortion and recreational drugs? Then why do they insist on over-regulating guns? After all abortion kills far more babies than guns.

An estimated 28,000 laws and regulations already cover the manufacture and ownership of guns.

Yet the President is proposing a ban on so called assault rifles, again ignoring history, while accepting the liberal description of assault weapons even though it’s proven to be a bogus misinterpretation. Machine guns are illegal and have been since 1933. The so called assault rifles are not machine guns, just regular rifles with lots of non-lethal ginger bread much like a Ford Focus and a Mustang. Both cars have the same purpose and basic functions yet one looks intimidating and costs more.

Next Mr. Obama indicated anyone on an airlines “No Fly” list should not be able to purchase a gun, that’s great. If properly set up that sounds fantastic, but who determines if a person is on a no-fly list, what are the standards and what is your recourse if falsely accused?

Ted Kennedy was placed on a No-Fly list, along with Boy George, Mark Thatcher – Son of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D., Mass.) disclosed that a congressional investigation recently found that 72 employees of DHS were also put on a terrorist watch list.”

Even though you were put on the list by mistake, once you are on the “No-Fly List” the government lacks an effective system to get you off. And this administrations lack of organizational skills with Obamacare and IRS bias towards conservatives, someone could place all NRA members on the No-Fly list where by you are automatically guilty, your Second amendment rights are forfeited, your unable to travel plus it’s up to you to pay for your legal defense fees. It is illegal to be punished for a crime without a trial yet that little detail doesn’t pertain to the IRS, (the only government authority where you are guilty until proven innocent.)

At a time when ISIS is said to be among us, illegal immigrants are crossing our boarders with impunity, and civil violence is at a all time high, we still have those that cannot see the logic spelled out, “All mass shootings have been in gun free areas.”
