Crime report for Dec. 28

LAURINBURG — Nathaniel Harrington Jr., 29, of 604 East Covington St., was arrested Thursday and served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. He was held under a $200 bond.
LAURINBURG — Celestine Williams, 60, of 520 Williams St., was arrested Monday for shoplifting at Walmart, according to a police report. She was charged with a misdemeanor larceny and held under a $1,000 bond.
LAURINBURG — Herbie Lee Jernigan Jr., 38, of 7220 Andrew Jackson Highway, was served with a warrant on Thursday and charged with misdemeanor communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report. He was not given a bond.
LAURINBURG — A passer-by reported a break-in to Wanda Prince and Shannon McNeil”s residence Thursday, according to a police report. Stereo equipment, assorted clothes and handbags worth about $800 was stolen.
LAURINBURG — Billie Austin, of Anne Street, reported Tuesday that someone entered his home and stole a television valued at about $600, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — Patricia Barton, of South Caledonia Road, reported Tuesday that someone stole a television from her home valued at about $250.
LAURINBURG — Clifford Patterson, of Barret Street, reported that someone stole a bicycle valued at about $50 from his residence, according to a police report.
WAGRAM — Dollar General, at South Main Street, reported Thursday that someone took a 5-gallon propane tank, worth about $30, from its cage, according to a sheriff’s report.
LAUREL HILL — Dennis Elvis, of Fork Street, reported Thursday that someone stole approximately $550 worth of cash and coins and $4440 in assorted jewelry and other items, according to a sheriff’s report.
