Crime report for Nov. 28
LAURINBURG — Cicely Moore, 18, of 4720 Old Wire Road and a 16-year-old male were arrested Monday for fighting at Scotland High School, according to a police report. Moore was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and the 16-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct. Each received a $2,500 bond.
LAURINBURG — Darrius Powell, 18, of Shane Lane Avenue was arrested Monday and charged with trespassing at the Laurinburg Police Department, according to a police report. Powell approached a female telecommunicator outside the building and made suggestive remarks to her. When he went inside he demanded for officers to take him to Bladenboro but they advised him to leave and when he refused he was arrested. Powell was held under a $1,500 bond.
LAURINBURG — Laurin Fowler, 61, of East Church Street was arrested Tuesday for disorderly conduct down the street from his residence, according to a police report. He was held under a $500 bond.
LAURINBURG — Matthew Phillips, 17, of Oat Drive was served with a warrant for larceny on Tuesday at Belks, according to a police report. He was held under a $1,500 bond.
LAURINBURG — Virginia Gillispie of Lincoln Street reported Tuesday that she noticed a hole in the back of her vehicle and remembered hearing gunshots the day before, according to a police report. Damages were estimated at about $300.
LAURINBURG — Lee Brooks of Shaw Drive reported Tuesday that someone forced entry into his home and took three televisions, a gaming system, a laptop and two computer tablets, according to a police report. The items stolen are valued at about $2,300.
LAURINBURG — David Lisenby of Aberdeen Road reported on Tuesday that someone kicked in the front door to his home and caused about $100 worth of damages to the door, according to a sheriff’s report.
LAURINBURG — Samantha Oxendine reported Monday that someone stole a computer tablet and a wireless router from her residence, according to a police report. The items stolen are valued at about $115.
LAURINBURG — Auto Recyclers, at 19841 Old Lumberton Road, reported on Tuesday that someone trespassed on the grounds and attempted to take items from the business’s property, according to a sheriff’s report.
