Crime report for Nov. 27
LAURINBURG — Timothy Player, 32, of 163 North Calbert St. in Rockingham was served with an order for his arrest on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. He was charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and failure to appear in court. Player was held under a $500 secured bond.
LAURINBURG — Lamar Jackson, 26, of 7481 Crestline Road was served an order for his arrest on Monday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $100 secured bond.
WAGRAM — Brenda Manning of North Turnpike Road reported Monday that someone broke into her home and stole a flat screen television valued at about $900, according to a sheriff’s report.
LAURINBURG — AT&T of 11481 N.C. 74 reported Monday that someone cut the fencing surrounding the business’s property and stole boxes of assorted wires, according to a sheriff’s report. The cost of damages caused to the chain link fence and barbed wire is $450 and the stolen wires are valued at about $930.
GIBSON — Joseph McMillan of Hamlet Road reported Monday that someone broke into a white Cadillac belonging to Lucinda Graham of Hamlet Road and stole a loudspeaker, according to a sheriff’s report. Damages to the car’s paint, driver side window, CD player and head light are estimated at $4,425. The speaker is valued at about $250.
