LAURINBURG — Manal Abdelaziz of 705 West Cottingham St. in Maxton was charged with threatening phone calls, according to a police report.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Veronica Ward of McDougal Avenue reported on Thursday that someone kicked open the door to her residence, according to a police report. Nothing appeared to be missing but someone did go through the cabinets and drawers in her home and caused about $400 worth of damage to Ward’s door frame


LAURINBURG — Anthony Langley, Coca-Cola representative, reported that someone used a metal bar to pry open two drink machines on Thursday at the Holiday Express on Plaza Road, according to a police report. About $80 was missing from one of the machines and no money was taken from the other.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Will Lane reported Thursday that someone damaged the apartment’s playground equipment of Scottish Winds apartment complex, according to a police report. Someone caused about $375 worth of damages to the borders around the playground.
