Crime report for Nov. 16
LAURINBURG — Heather McMillan, 21, of 1009 South Caledonia Road was arrested Thursday and charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while license revoked and resisting a public officer, according to a police report.
According to the report, McMillan failed to stop at a stop sign and did not follow the directions of an officer when she was pulled over. She was held under a $7,500 bond.
LAURINBURG — Eddric Monroe, 26, of Harold Morris Road in Wagram was arrested on Thursday and charged with failure to appear in court, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report. He also received a ticket for equipment violation and was held under a $700 bond.
LAURINBURG — Paulette McNamara of Milton Street reported Thursday that someone took a three-wheeled bicycle, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — Angela Hartley of Carver Street reported Thursday that someone broke into her residence and took an assortment of video games and cell phones valued at about $472, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — Richard’s Seafood Gallery, at McGirts Bridge Road, reported Thursday that someone broke into the building and took an assortment of food items, money, cigarettes and assorted beers valued at about $470, according to a police report.
LAUREL HILL — Timmy Hatcher of Corbitt Road reported Thursday that someone pried open a storage building with an unknown object and stole about $1,110 worth of power and hand tools, according to a sheriff’s report.
LAURINBURG — Judy Lovin of Tar Heel Road in Lumberton reported Thursday that someone broke into her residence on Old Maxton Road in Laurinburg and stole three high school class rings that are valued at about $1,150, according to a sheriff’s report. About $400 worth of damage was done to a wood door and frame.
