Arrests


LAURINBURG — Onisha Devaughn, 20, of 723 Hall St. was served a warrant for simple assault and entry to real property on Wednesday, according to a police report. She was taken to the magistrate’s office where she received the bond of a written promise.


LAURINBURG — James McLean, 42, of 20440 Sallie McNair Road was served a warrant and arrested on Wednesday for communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.


LAURINBURG — Zekura McLean, 16, of St. Johns Church Road in Laurel Hill was served with an order for her arrest on Wedesday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. She was arrested at Scotland High School and held under a $1,000 bond.


LAURINBURG — Jeffery Westwood, 47, of 14083 Old Stage Road in Gibson was arrested on Wednesday for probation violations, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $2,600 bond.


LAURINBURG — John Smith, 45, 20368 McEachin Road in Laurel Hill was served a warrant and arrested on Wednesday for making harassing phone calls, according to a sheriff’s report.


LAUREL HILL — Dale Russell, 46, 8400 King David Road was arrested at his home on Thursday and charged for interfering with emergency communication and assault on a female, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $500 bond.


Theft


LAURINBURG — Kimberly Bridgeman of Omah Hill Drive in Laurel Hill reported on Wednesday that someone took her 2007 Chrysler Subaru worth about $3,000, according to a police report. Bridgeman said her daughter drove the Subaru to work and when she got off, the vehicle was gone.


LAURINBURG — Scott Parks of Gibson Road reported that someone took a rocking hair from his residence on Wednesday that’s valued at about $150, according to a sheriff’s report.


LAURINBURG — Blease Locklear of Troll Road reported on Wednesday that someone took a trash can from his residence valued at about $100, according to a sheriff’s report.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Ruby Spry of South Pine Street reported Wednesday that someone entered the residence and stole currency and a pocket watch, according to a police report. The estimated value of the items taken is $465.


LAURINBURG — Jacqueline Adams of Campbell Street reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home and stole assorted meats and cigarettes, according to a police report. The estimated value of the items taken is $45.


LAURINBURG — Barry Suydam of Turnpike Road reported that someone stole an estimated value of $1,600 worth of computer equipment, according to a police report.
